Deed of Donation of 2,200 Square Meter Lot by the City of Angeles Represented Herein by the City Mayor

Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 1 2005.

The Court Resolved NOTE the Memorandum dated 28 January 2005 of the Committee on halls of Justice, filed in compliance with the resolution of 18 January 2005.

The Court further Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Committee on Halls of Justice, with recommending approval of Clerk of Court Luzviminda D. Puno and Associate justice Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez, chairman, same Committee, to ACCEPT the draft Deed of Donation over a 2,200 square meter lot by the City of Angeles, represented by City Mayor Carmelo F. Lazatin, to wit:

DEED OF DONATION

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This deed, made and executed by and between the City of Angeles, a chartered city created by, and existing under RA 3700, represented herein by its City Mayor, CARMELO F. LAZATIN, of legal age, Filipino, married and resident of Angeles City, hereinafter called the DONOR and the SUPREME COURT OF THE PHILIPPINES, represented by Chief Justice, Hon. HILARIO G. DAVIDE, hereinafter called the DONEE:

WITNESSETH:

That the DONOR is the registered owner of a parcel of land, which is more particularly described as follows:

Transfer Certificate of title No. 101011

Registry of Deeds of Angeles City

“A parcel land ( Lot 99-V-2-C-3 of the subd. Plan PSD-035401-068319, being a portion of Lot 99-V-2-C; PSD-03-028830, L.R.C. Rec. No.  ), situated in the Barrio of Pulung Maragul, City of Angeles, x x x containing an area of TWENTY THOUSAND (20,000) square meters, X X X”

That for and in consideration of the genuine concern and interest which the DONOR has in the administration of justice which is being undertaken by the DONEE in coordination with the Judiciary and other agencies concerned of the Government, said DONOR, by these presents cedes, transfers and conveys, by way of donation, unto the DONEE, its administrators, successors and assigns, a portion of TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED (2,200) square meters of the afore described parcel of land, to be used exclusively as location site for the Hall of Justice Building, free from liens and encumbrances. That the portion donated as indicated in a sketch, which is hereto attached as Annex A and made an integral part hereof.

That the DONEE does hereby accept this donation of the above-described property and further express its sincere appreciation to the kindness and liberality of the DONOR.
