RE: 2004 RULES ON NOTARIAL PRACTICE

Sirs/Mesdames:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 29 2005.

The Court Resolved to NOTE and REFER the following documents to the SUB-COMMITTEE ON RULES ON NOTARIAL PRACTICE:

(a)     1st Indorsement dated 8 March 2005 of Marcela R. Icaro, Sangguniang Bayan Secretary, Tiaong, Quezon, forwarding Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 2005-58;

(b)     Aforesaid Resolution No. 2005-58, entitled A Resolution Requesting the Supreme Court to Reconsider the 2004 Notarial Rule So That Members in Good Standing of the Notaries Public of Quezon Province Who Had Been Commissioned as Notaries Public for and in Tiaong Quezon May Become Eligible for Re-Appointment As Such for the Year 2005 Onwards;

(c)     Letter dated 17 March 2005 of Loriano S. Jumarito, President, ALGLDN, forwarding Resolution No. 1, S. 2005 and Resolution No. 052-2005;

(d)     Aforesaid Resolution No. 1, S. 2005, entitled Resolution Fervently Requesting the Honorable Justices of the Supreme Court of the Philippines Thru The Honorable Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide, Jr. to Grant Notarial Commission to the Members of the Association of Law Graduates of Lanao Del Norte (ALGLDN); and

(e)     Aforesaid Resolution No. 052-2005, entitled A Resolution Favorably Endorsing Resolution No. 1, S. 2005 of the Association of Law Graduates of the Province of Lanao Del Norte (ALGLDN), Fervently Requesting the Honorable Justices of the Supreme Court of the Philippines Through The Honorable Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide, Jr. to Grant Notarial Commission to the Members of the Association of Law Graduates of the Province of Lanao Del Norte (ALGLDN).” (adv138)
