Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUL 2 2002.

G.R. No. 138867 (People of the Philippines vs. Lordio Librando y Baculangan.)

Considering that Court Stenographer Nelia Balin is no longer connected with Branch 163 of the Regional Trial Court of Pasig City after her appointment expired in March 1998 and her whereabouts unknown, this Court resolves to require the parties to furnish this Court with a copy of the transcript of stenographic notes of the testimony of Dr. Tomas Saguitan at the hearing held on December 16, 1997 taken by stenographer Nelia Balin, if there be any. If in the negative, parties are required to manifest to this Court in writing, within ten (10) days from notice hereof, whether or not they are willing to have the testimony of Dr. Tomas Saguitan be retaken or dispensed with and consider the records complete sans the said transcript of stenographic notes.
