Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUL 16 2002.

A.M. OCA-IPI No. 02-1435-RTJ (Judge Ruben Ayson vs. RTC Judges of Baguio City.)

In his Motion for Reconsideration/Clarification dated 24 May 2002, Judge Ruben Ayson avers that “the Ilusorio and Munsayac de Villa cases are included in [his] letter report x x x which was made the basis of the. Supreme Court En Banc Resolution directing a formal investigation. In fact, the said two cases form a substantial part of the allegations of corruption or misconduct against Judge Reyes.” He, thus, prays that this Court directs the Investigating Justice of the Court of Appeals to allow the introduction of evidence related to these cases to enable him to prove allegations in his aforementioned letter-report. We agree.

WHEREFORE, we hereby CLARIFY that the formal investigation of this administrative case shall include the Ilusorio and Munsayac de Villa cases and DIRECT the Investigating Justice to allow the introduction of evidence related to said cases. (Davide, Jr., C.J., on leave.)
