Quoted hereunder, for your
information, is a resolution of this Court dated 20 AUG
2002.

In
line with this Court’s rulings in In Re:
Arthur M. Cuevas, Jr., 285 SCRA 59 (1998), In Re: Al Argosino, 270 SCRA 26 (1997), and In
Re: Blas Antonio M. Tuliao, B.M.
No. 832, Min. Res., Aug. 27, 1996, the Court RESOLVED to ALLOW the following
Bar applicants to take the 2002 Bar Examinations subject to the CONDITION that
if they pass the said Examinations, they will not be allowed to take the
Lawyer’s Oath until further orders from the Court:

FACTORAN, Fulgencio III M. (B.E. No. 3947). The Court also resolved to NOTE the letter,
dated August 5, 2002, of Mrs. Cecilia L. Reyes, mother of the victim in the
Homicide case against Mr. Factoran, opposing his application to take this
year’s Bar Examinations.
Puno,
Quisumbing, and Carpio, JJ., no part.
Davide, Jr., C.J., is abroad on official business.
