Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated JUL 17 2002.

G.R. No. 150066 (Edna Chua, et al. vs. Msgr. Virgilio Soriano.)

Considering that petitioner Emmanuel Chua passed away on March 17, 2002 per Certificate of Death attested by Jose Sollano, M.D., and that the Court has been informed of the names of his legal representatives per Compliance submitted by counsel for petitioners, the Court resolves to substitute as petitioners his surviving spouse Edna L. Chua, and his children, Erlyn L. Chua, Ericson L. Chua, Emmanuel L. Chua, Jr. and Elise L. Chua (a minor, represented by her mother co-petitioner Edna L. Chua) in lieu of deceased petitioner Emmanuel Chua. (Davide, Jr., C.J., on leave.)
