Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUL 20 2004.

"G.R. No. 146106 (People of the Philippines vs. Fernando Villanueva, Jr.)

The Court Resolved to NOTE the Letter dated 14 June 2004 of Director Dionisio R. Santiago, Bureau of Corrections, informing the Court that the execution of the death penalty imposed upon prisoner Fernando Villanueva, Jr. y Aspasene was not carried out as scheduled on 12 July 2004 in view of the reprieve granted by Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, transferring the execution to 11 October 2004."
