UP’s Pride. Chief Justice Puno receives the plaque of recognition given by the UP College of Law from Dean Salvador A. Carlota (right), and Associate Dean Patricia Salvador-Daway. The plaque was in recognition of his “distinguished scholarship and learned pursuits which marked his entire career in government” and “his intellectual depth, unquestionable integrity, and dedicated service to the judicial and executive branches of government.”
