DOLE Sec. Brion Returns to Judiciary as 161st SC Justice

After a two-year stint as Secretary of Labor and Employment, former Court of Appeals (CA) Associate Justice Arturo D. Brion has come home to the Judiciary upon taking his oath as the Supreme Court’s 161st magistrate on March 17 before Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno.

A man blessed with diverse talents and skills, Justice Brion’s work experience cuts a swath across the three branches of government, as well as showcases the multiple facets of law practice.

Of the many professional regulatory examinations given by the State, none attract as much attention as the Bar Examinations. The release of its results is a highly-anticipated event, not only among those who take the exams, but even among the general public.
