Judge Mary Jane Briñas Dacara-Buenaventura, a Certified Public Accountant, was Judicial Supervisor detailed at the Office of Deputy Court Administrator Antonio Dujua when appointed last April as member of the Bench. She joined the Supreme Court in 1998, three years after she had passed the Bar exams.

An alumna of the San Sebastian-Recoletos College of Law, Judge Buenaventura also serves as one of the lecturers/resource speakers in the series of seminar-workshops on the Code of Conduct for Court Personnel.

Judge Buenaventura also served as the Treasurer of the Supreme Court Assembly of Lawyer-Employees.
