ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 28 2005

AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF A FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION

ON COURT PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

AND THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED COURT OFFICIALS

AND EMPLOYEES THEREIN

WHEREAS, under its Action Program for Judicial Reform (APJR), the Supreme Court has embarked on comprehensive reforms to make the Judiciary more effective and efficient in the administration of justice;

WHEREAS, among the major initiatives to support the implementation of the APJR is the Judicial Reform Support Project (JRSP), which includes a study on the jurisdictional structures of the various court levels;

WHEREAS, one of the objectives of the study is to promote access to judicial services and achieve a more balanced distribution of caseload among the various court levels and branches;

NOW, THEREFORE, authority is hereby granted for the conduct on 12 March 2005, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., at the Mandarin Oriental, Makati Avenue, Makati City, of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to establish material caseload standards for the various court levels and to determine other court performance indicators.
