ADMINISTRATIVE CIRCULAR NO. 45-2005
AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF A TRAINING COURSE
IN CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Philippine Supreme Court crafted its own Action Program for Judicial Reforms (APJR) in 2000 and has, since then, vigorously implemented various projects aimed at enhancing judicial institutions and improving the delivery of judicial services;
WHEREAS, countries in the Asia-Pacific Region and elsewhere have also launched their judicial reform initiatives to address basic issues, such as judicial efficiency and effectiveness, judicial independence, fiscal autonomy, and access to justice;
WHEREAS, despite these rich and numerous country-led efforts, there is no regional institutional forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences on judicial reforms;
WHEREAS, to establish a network to facilitate knowledge-sharing and knowledge-management mechanisms among the Justices, judges, and legal practitioners in the Asia-Pacific Region, the Supreme Court of the Philippines is initiating an International Conference and Showcase on judicial Reforms on 28-30 November 2005 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel, Makati City, Philippines;
WHEREAS, to ensure that the Court is adequately equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competence to perform the required functions and meet the rigorous demands of managing an International Conference and Showcase on Judicial Reforms, a training course in Conference Management will be held on 5-7 September 2005 at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Malate, Manila;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Court hereby authorizes the conduct of a training course in Conference Management on 5-7 September 2005 at the Pan pacific Hotel, Malate, Manila.
